Nik Sylvan (White Raven Press)

Nik (they/them) is a queer nonbinary artist and illustrator specializing in linocut, pen & ink, watercolour, and digital illustration. They love to create images inspired by the natural world, mythology, folklore, and fantasy literature. Nik lives on Vancouver Island with their partner, an elderly cat, and a leopard gecko.

Nik is also writer (as Nico Silver) of fantasy, romantic fantasy, and folk horror. They like stories with at least a little bit of magic lurking on the edges and tend to write about finding oneself and one’s purpose in life, learning to find joy in everyday things, and sweet-but-spicy love stories where two people face down the horrors life throws at them together.
