#whywemake
I am committed to living a productive life, and making is essential to my well-being. I care about creating products that are thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted. As a printmaker, I love bringing together traditional and contemporary techniques to make compelling images.Kevin Rudynski studied printmaking, drawing and painting at Indiana University at South Bend where he earned a BA in Fine Arts. He continued his studies in fine arts at the University of Illinois completing a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking specializing in lithography and intaglio. Kevin later worked for several advertising agencies as an art director and creative director before moving to Anderson, Indiana to coordinate the graphic design and printmaking majors at Anderson University. He served as chair of the Department of Art + Design for twelve years. He was also Associate Professor of Graphic Design and chair of the Department of Art and Design at Marian University-Indianapolis where he taught graphic design, printmaking, and senior portfolio courses. Rudynski’s recent work combines his love for typography, design, printmaking, and mixed print media.
