Linda Lutomski

Profile

Linda Lutomski is an artist inspired by texture and nature, working in a variety of mediums. She shared her love of creativity as an educator, and retired from teaching art for Cranbrook Educational Community, in Bloomfield Hills, MI. She is currently teaching locally in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Textiles have been a source of inspiration and experimentation in her work, from papermaking, dyeing, spinning to developing textural weaves on a traditional potholder loom. She is the author of "Artful Twill Weaving with Loops" and most recently, "Design &Texture-Endless Possibilities" where she shares her enthusiasm and techniques, encouraging others to explore and expand weaving norms using these portable looms. Her studio is in Southwestern Colorado.
