I weave to express the ideas in my mind’s eye, revealing the potential of the materials and exploring the endless possibilities of the technique. It’s a constant learning process; to make something beautiful is an act of knowledge.Individually unique handwoven art, scarves and interior accessories made using traditional techniques and thoughtful sourcing of materials.
Weaving every item herself, Veronica brings her own individuality and a personal handwriting to the textiles she creates. Connecting with the material and process through a measured way of working and a deep respect for the materials, she fuses colour, texture and pattern in an articulation of artistic expression. The resulting woven scarves, home accessories and art pieces have integrity and honesty, depth and character; a thing of beauty to contemplate and cherish, a functional item to wear or use time and time again, year after year.
Originally from the UK, Veronica now lives and works in The Hague, The Netherlands. She has more than 15 years of weaving experience, selling and exhibiting work both locally and internationally.
